Hi! I’m Daniel. My passion is using technology to solve problems and achieve business goals. After more than a decade of working with leaders across the higher education, health care, consulting, small business, and nonprofit industries, I’ve found that pretty much every person finds him or herself in one of these “Three Camps”:
- Technology is my ally! I not only see it as a means to an end, but I love using it and couldn’t imagine my life (or my business) without the immeasurable benefits technology provides!
- Meh. I have a smartphone, and I know how to navigate the Internet, but I see technology as a necessary evil and view it more as an expense than a value-add.
- Technology frightens me! Whenever I hear the words “Business Process Improvement” it’s a trigger for my anxiety! Just another buzz word and a way to make my life more difficult!
Though these “camps” are certainly not absolute categories, and I wouldn’t qualify myself as an expert in psychology, I’ve found that the vast majority of people on this great blue marble fall into one of these three broad areas. And, though I’ve been a techie for as long as I can remember, there’s nothing more rewarding than applying my expertise to reach individuals finding a home in Camps #2 and #3. Of course, I love working with businesses and folks in Camp #1, but the process of developing real, results-oriented relationships with people who struggle to see unique advantages only technology affords is truly rewarding; witnessing a client’s proverbial light bulb switch on when the business-technology gap’s successfully bridged is a beautiful sight.
And, that’s why I’m here. I’m here so that you can help me continue having these incredibly life-giving moments.
Whether it’s moving around some old data, planning, developing, and supporting an application, or even coming on-site to assess and improve daily operations, I’m your guy. I’ve staked my entire career on the limitless possibilities that only technology can provide and I’m proud to say I’m staking my entire business on this exact same premise.
